The Complete Calvin and Hobbes Paperback Box Set Is Back on Sale for Black Friday image As part of its Amazon Black Friday Sale event, Amazon has the Complete Calvin and Hobbes Paperback Box Set for only $57.51, which is a huge price drop from its $135 MSRP. This is the lowest price we've seen all year long for one of the best comic strips ever created, and it's at this price exclusively on Amazon. Black Friday Deal: The Complete Calvin and Hobbes Box Set for $57.51 The complete paperback box set includes four full-color paperback volumes (1,440 total pages) in a sturdy slipcase and includes all Calvin and Hobbes cartoons that ever appeared in syndication, from its initial publication in 1985 to Bill Watterson's retirement in 1995. This is as much an incredible gift to the millennial who has fond memories of reading Calvin and Hobbes in the Sunday full-color cartoon secton of the newspaper to the Gen Alpha kid who has never been introduced to the series. The paperback set is far higher quality and more robust than what you'd normally expect a paperback series to be, with good binding and thick paper stock. The cartoons are in black & white or color, depending on how they were first published. Many people actually prefer the paperback to the hardcover editions. The hardcovers are reported to be less durable because the sheer weight of the book makes it easy for the hardcover binding to pull right off. That's compounded by the fact that the hardcover set only consists of three books, each weighing more than 7 pounds! The paperback set is divided into four books and and the cover is less prone to peeling. We've seen this deal come around during previous Black Fridays, but Calvin and Hobbes is such a popular series that the deal usually goes out of stock before Black Friday actually comes around. That means you can save a bunch of money on all kinds of things, including video games. One of the best games of 2023 (see our 10/10 Resident Evil 4 remake review) is a from-the-ground-up remake of Resident Evil 4. Like the remakes of the previous games, this one is excellently made and just phenomenally fun to play. And thanks to Walmart's Black Friday sale, it's available on PS5 and Xbox Series X for just $30. That's a killer deal. Resident Evil 4 Is $30 for Black Friday See it at Best Buy - $39.99 See it at Amazon - In and out of stock See it at GameStop - In and out of stock In this reimagined version of the game, we catch up with Leon six years after the Raccoon City disaster. As an agent reporting directly to the President of the United States, he faces his toughest mission yet: rescuing the President's kidnapped daughter from a mysterious European village engulfed in madness. The remake, reconstructed using Capcom's RE Engine, enhances the visuals and adds new story elements to deliver a modern gaming experience that feels both new yet true to the original. The game introduced a close third-person camera that made the tense gameplay feel extra, er, tense. You'll engage in frenzied combat with the Ganados villagers, explore a European village overrun by murderous villagers, and solve puzzles to survive Leon and Ashley's whole ordeal. While the original feels fairly clunky by modern standards, this remake improves the gameplay to meet contemporary survival horror standards. You have an array of attack methods, including enhanced knife skills. The attaché case is back, offering expanded storage, ammunition crafting, and new customization options.
