This legend paid off his country's debts, pushing the country towards sovereignty. He fought West-funded terrorism, dealt with mercenaries, and challenged Western supremacy. He dismantled paid coups and engaging in strategic diplomacy, breaking the slavery chains of France. I don't care if he's from the West or Africa. I don't care if he's black or white, and I don't care if he's Muslim or Christian. Anyone who demonstrates this level of political courage and endurance is a true leader. I respect his vision and leadership for his country. image

They have always tried to prevent us from becoming, self-reliant, self-sufficient, completely independent and economically sovereign. And for that we don't need to protest, we don't need to plead, and we don't need permission. We need to construct alternatives brick by brick, well by well, seed by seed. We don't need to bring their building down, we need to stop living in their building. And that begins with sufficiency. - Shahid Bolsen
