Fascism always self-destructs because it isn't a way of running a country, it's a way of looting a country. When you see blatant pocket-stuffing, lying, self-aggrandising bastards vying for power on the promise of enacting the will of the people and punishing the people's enemies, you don't need to ponder "but are they *technically* fascists?" They're here to loot your country. You should probably not be OK with that. And if you are complacent about it, all the usual bad stuff WILL follow.
