You kind of cheer with hesitation in regards to the partnership between Motorola and GrapheneOS. Hopefully GrapheneOS will end up being recognized by powerful institutions like governments (apps) and get NFC with CC implemented. Not, being a "rooted" device clearly has it's benefits. But, partnership with a big commercial entity may also come with the price of "legal" compliance measures from secret societies and agencies. I really hope that this will not erode the security model over time and that the escape hatch is still intact if it does.
