So, what will happen when you tell the slaves "You are free now, I will not sustain your living anymore, I can not, you will be replaced by some highly effective humanoids"?

Let's leave the Matrix, let's Monero!
One of the great advantages living in the EU is the freedom of movement. I could as a Finnish citizens buy some land in French Guiana (South America) or La Reunion and live in a remote village where most people still don't own a smart phone yet. No application, no visa, no nothing.
The general stupidity and tyranny of Brussels, will still have a long way to go, manifesting it self in these rural areas.
Sometimes you get a feeling that 80% of the BTC maxi's, could as easily have been BlackRock or TSLA maxis if just a cult were built around those.
This really seems like an steep uphill battle for the OG's.
You are not a rootless, soulless, cultureless, familyless, historyless, homeless, atheist, cosmopolitan, globalist nobody.
They will do anything to feed you that idea with their slob news, slob music, slob movies, slob food and contra fact history. "They" are the transnational rootless criminals.
Embrace real culture, real history, real music, real food and old movies. There is nothing to be ashamed of, only things to be proud of no matter where you live.
We are steadily moving in to a time where specialists and high degrees have 0 value. But, generalists who have rejected anyone's approval will triumph.
The bots produced by schooling, has been made obsolete by AI and the grounded, independent, self aware, curious, critical thinking individual will succeed.
You really don't have to recognize their authority. It all starts by not giving away your voice/vote every fourth year or so.
Respect is something to be earned.

Nostr is not the problem. It is the client side. If the users were more coordinated in funding clients like @npub1t7ks...3lgc and @npub142gy...xrj0 things would be on the right track. Currently it seems to be only Mossad/Israel affiliated funding (as most mediums).
ANY registered organization (incl. NGO's) has to and WILL comply with the law of the land, regardless if these laws are made up by the Epstein Class.
That also applies to organizations such as Mozilla, Letsencrypt and Signal. Never, Ever fall for the illusion that they would act outside the law to protect you as a user.
Being excluded from the existing financial system (with exception of a few manipulative CEX's). We see the effect of real supply and demand of a difficult-to-obtain currency. All desperate attempts of media blackout, fud, majority attacks, exclusion, delisting, outlawing has not worked.
Would opening the floodgates to leveraged shortsighted investor capital ever have done any good to monero? EU's banning of privacy coins (and soon noncustodial coins) would have given xmr a big dump. The attempt to take over the project from influential powers, the price manipulation etc. in exchange for a relative stable and organic adoption distributed out to the real users of the currency.
As long as you didn't opt-in on a peak, you would actually have done pretty well holding xmr. Considering monero is not an actual investment, it is just a reasonable currency.

If I buy crypto noncustodial, I have to pay >50 % tax on gains, when i off-ramp/change wallet/swap/buy anything with these cryptos if they've appreciated in value since I bought them. If I have another wallet, where the coin has depreciated I can not deduct the loss from my above gain.
So, where I live multiple people have been bankrupted by buying and selling crypto, unaware of the tax laws in their country.
If I bought an crypto ETF I would only pay ≈ 25% and my loss would be deductible.
Just consider that sentiment structure for brief moment...
We need an L2 settled in monero. You want to be able to pay in seconds when paying at a busy street vendor, no delays. Maybe also a contract layer?
People never stopped making bank transfers, just because the credit card were introduced. The same case could be made for a fast, maybe even off-grid/offline working L2 for monero. I think many vendors of smaller payments, vendors that can't let a customer hold the line for 4 minutes for two confirmations, vendors with subscription sevices etc. would be willing to accept a slightly higher risk (as they already do with most other forms of payment).
You think that you need 5000 USD/mnt to survive.
- If you didn't pay income tax, you would only need 3000 USD
- Further if you didn't pay Vat/sales taxes on your spending. You should only earn 2400 USD.
- If you didn't pay capital gain tax or corporate tax on your profit. You would end up with the same purchasing power, at around 1500-1750 USD/mnt. Depending on where you live.
That's why you opt in to monero.
