Found this tape on eBay when looking for Ayn Rand’s novel “The Fountainhead” and wondered if there was any connection. I looked into it and couldn’t find much out about the band, so i bought the tape and listened to it today, and this is the best objectivist band I’ve heard, it’s a fantastic album! They are a new wave 80’s band from Ireland and had two albums, the other called “Voice of Reason” which i’m looking forward to listening to. I re-listened to it and transcribed the lyrics as I couldn’t find them online and they are definitely influenced by Objectivism, they are clearly proponents themselves. Along with deciding to change to a carnivore diet and take nostr seriously, i’ve decided to watch more inspirational movie to help refuel my soul and will to pursue my dreams. I’ll start with October Sky, a truly inspirational story of a boy in a mining town during the cold war in the USA. He decides to become a rocket scientist against his dad’s wishes. With help from his school friends and local people who see the spark and want him to succeed he builds a rocket to enter the national science competition. Highly recommend, a brilliantly written and directed movie about triumphant victory against all odds and achieving your highest values, a new favourite! #movie_review #objectivism #inspiration #benevolent #inspiring
