Beef massaman. Slow-cooked beef shank until it’s tender and melts like butter, rich with coconut milk, and soft, warm potatoes in every bite. Used a pre-made curry paste I got from a lovely gramma. Made some roti to mop it all up, and of course served it with jasmine rice—because we don’t mess with the classics. #foodstr

It’s snack time! The girlies had their Dinosaur Bowl today… grrrr 🦖🦕🤪—mulberry and yogurt flavored, with green tripe, duck egg, chicken wing tips, and a drizzle of raw honey. Definitely a bowl-licking good combo! Also baked a batch of cookies and sprinkled on some mountain salt my sister gave me. On its own, it’s a bit flinty for my taste, but on the cookies? Made ตะโก้เผือก (Tako Pueak) last night—sweet taro pudding with creamy, salty coconut on top. I even folded a few pandan leaf cups to keep it traditional… but then the power went out 😅 Had to finish everything up in the dark, with just a few pandan boats — the rest had to be piled up. Not the prettiest batch, but they turned out delicious. #foodstr #siamstr

Had to leave the girls on their own today, so I made an emotional support snack bowl to keep them emotionally distracted 😌🐾 Layered duck feet, some meat, dragon fruit, yogurt, and a whole chicken egg inside a coconut shell—then froze the whole thing solid.
