Mala is such a great swimmer! We’ve been introducing her to the waves and water since we first got her at around 3 weeks old. She’ll even swim alongside us when we go for a long swim. The only problem is—she always tries to “save” us and ends up almost drowning us instead 😂 Her sister loves to ambush her when she’s close to the shore—it’s their little game. I’d love to share a little of what I learned from my dinner — steak with patatas bravas and sautéed corn with pepperoni. For the bravas sauce, I added a bit of Korean chili flakes and smoked paprika, then sautéed some tomato paste — it really gave the sauce more depth and umami. As for the crispy potatoes, try boiling them with a little baking soda. It helps break down the pectin and creates more surface for that golden, crunchy finish. Simple tricks, but they make a big difference! #foodstr #zapcooking

Korean-inspired dish with local, homegrown ingredients. I stopped by the flea market and picked up some beautiful seasonal produce—sesbania flowers - ดอกโสน (they’re blooming everywhere after the recent rains), winged beans - ถั่วพู from a sweet grandma (who also sold me a huge bag of passion fruit for just $1!), and a few other fresh finds. I pan-seared some steak, made a gochujang sauce, and kimchi soup using my homemade kimchi. I added some Siam Ruby pomelo that wasn’t flavorful enough to enjoy on its own (bad luck picking it 😞), but on the plate it worked beautifully, bringing a refreshing balance to the whole dish. #foodstr #siamstr
