My most hated UI trend has finally been adopted by Apple. The problem with this kind of UI is that it looks fancy in screenshots, but using it daily is a nightmare - it hurts my eyes.

BEFORE: - Monitor: 4K OLED, HDR10, glossy... - Phone: iPhone or top-tier Android phones - GPU: RTX 4000+ - Keyboard: Only used mechanical keyboards - Headphones: Premium Bluetooth earbuds with ANC AFTER: - Monitor: 1080p IPS is fine - Phone: Any budget Chinese Android phone works - GPU: iGPU are sufficient, no dGPU needed - Keyboard: $10 no-brand keyboard - Headphones: $5 Xiaomi wired earbuds with 3.5mm jack The only high-end device I still own is a MacBook, solely because it runs macOS. I'll switch to a ThinkPad once Linux improves.
