🚨UK 🇬🇧: Approximately 40 Million UK voters had personal information exposed due to a massive cyberattack that breached the Electoral Commission. Hackers first infiltrated the system in August 2021, but were not discovered until over a year later, in October 2022. Anyone who registered to vote between 2014 and 2022 could have their information collected. The Election Commission apologized today for the data breach.

China 🇨🇳: In July/2023 Chinese exports fell at the sharpest pace since February/2020. Compared to the previous year, China's exports to the US and the European Union fell by more than 20% in July/23.

🚨Nicaragua 🇳🇮: A journalist from Honduras was prevented from entering Nicaragua for “defending” the persecuted Catholic priests in the country. The complaint was made by the journalist herself, Kenia Lili Gonzalez Sanchez, who said she had received a document from the authorities in which she says that “she was a person that was not welcomed by the government of Nicaragua for publishing publications in favor of Christians in Nicaragua”.
