Going to change the terminology used in monstr because it just isn't accurate to use "subscription" and I hate the parasitic nature of subscriptions. It shall be called a pledge. There will be no "bought" tiers or ranks, if there are going to be tiers or ranks to the pledges then it can only be gained through time itself.

would monero people actually be okay with a hot wallet integrated into a client? thats what the Garnet (Amethyst clone) did. I instinctually perceived it as a complete no-go and didn't even know about Garnet until @Saberhagen The Nameless mentioned it other day which is why I've been building monstr with a view-only wallet and payments are made by an external wallet. Can't tell if I'm just being autistic or not. As an Android app i feel less schizo about it but it still feels wrong and especially wrong as a web client.
Should I just rebuild monstr in flutter/dart
Added android signer logins. And adaptive behavior to screen/device size. Smartphone view looking comfy. the little monstr is growing. I also added an explore section that looks for people active in the monero community, me at the top of course. I want to get image uploads to work next so i can stop updating you all from primal haha.

Power went out while I was working and I have no idea what was saved and what wasn't

ignoring school work to do this lol. First of all I'd like to introduce you to Milli, the mascot of monstr and also to the nostr client monstr. Here are some screenshots, I've basically forked my other project, [Gyges] and revamped the entire aesthetic, so it still has the monero subscription and tipping mechanism and im ngl I love milli and i would give my life for them

I own two domains for the project. Currently the project operates under the name [Gyges] (mythological ring of invisibility) (Gyges.me) but the more I build it out as a nostr client the more I'm inclined to use the other name. [Monstr] (Monero, Notes and Stuff Transmitted by Relays) (Monstr.land).
If you were logging into a monero nostr client which name sounds better? No I don't want your ideas for alternatives, you people suck at naming things. You have a choice of two already solid options. Gyges or Monstr?
I still want to build [Gyges] as a monero patreon/superchat system but I can't help but see a space for a monero community centered nostr client that has the NIP-XMR functionality I've been developing. Its going to divide my time a lot and I've tried reaching out to people have said they're working on things but I see no working instances or received any responses.
I know what I'd like in a nostr client. Minimalist, text-based, monero tipping, follow feed and RSS feed.
What do you think is missing in the client you use? What do you think is unnecessary in the client you use?

any monero people out there

Happy Ash Wednesday people in my screen
can all the boomers stop posting ancient memes pls you're making me pro-federal reserve out of cringe
Sats are treated like nothing because of zaps and 99% of posts I see serve as banal bias confirmations. Congratulations you've managed to take censorship resistance and proof-of-work and turn it into a gross circlejerk Tumblr with proof-of-stake f-boy mentality. Gm fellow bitcoinerinos don't forget to updoot
It's literally impossible to use any form of social media without being mentally ill, everyone here is as bad as a twitter user
