Hosting e-commerce with bitcoin is actually so hard and expensive, it's stupid.
"Just integrate BTCPayServer with Shopify!"
Shopify: $40/month minimum. Customization of the template adds greater upfront cost.
BTCPayServer: Requires bitcoin full node, a lightning node, an NBXplorer indexer, and a place to host. Most people just lease a lightning node in the cloud, like with LunaNode, which is like an $20 a month and you STILL have to manage channels and liquidity.
This is insane. Why the fuck is it like this. It's like we've been making internet native currency work like shit. On the internet. As currency.

Today I learned that satoshi was just as bad as getting people to run nodes as I am.

At this point, I can't be arsed to figure out why half of my notifications aren't surfacing in Amethyst. Fuck it, I'll just use DarkWisp forever or until the next release.
I was on X for 5 minutes, and I see Arthur Van Pelt unironically sharing the Wikipedia article for Cat Meat as a rebuttal against people who say Luke tweets some nutty stuff occassionally. What a warzone. What a black mirror episode that place is. Holllly shit I actually enjoy nostr.

Libertarians: Externalities don't exist in markets, which I'm grossly incentivized to think solve everything
Socialists: Externalities are the only things that exist in markets, which I'm grossly incentivized to think are the reason I'm miserable.
This 4th of July, the media really wants me to know that Donald Trump has been highly inappropriate with his denunciation of Communism.
I can't believe after an hour with AI, I understand nftables/iptables, NAT, conntrack, and IP masquerading on a level I never thought I would. O'Reilly must be shitting their pants over how much better AI is at explaining technology than they are.
Wow, doesnt this sound like a lovely afternoon? What else were you going to do with your precious time that isn't as important as sperging out about shit that has absolutely nothing to do with using bitcoin to buy things, which is its primary purpose.

The apotheosis of Bitcoin self-radicalization is speaking in broad civilizational terms with the assurance of victory over evil, as if it were a covenant from God.
It's just software, people.

LARPertarians, cone on! You're getting smoked by the people who say that "bitcoining" is just owning and using bitcoin!
It can't be that simple! Don't they understand they have to do 900 requisite hours of self-radicalization? Do they not listen to podcasts!? Do they not world-build around extremely boring and heterodox economic theories?

Some people need to be abaolved of the notion that thinking and talking about ideas makes you a bitcoiner. Here's a handy demonstration
1) Take your idea
2) Shove it up your ass
3) Go to a Square vendor that accepts bitcoin as payment
4) Remove the idea from your ass and try to spend it
Were you successful? No? Then "ideas" don't make you a bitcoiner. The Square vendor is more of a bitcoiner than you.
This tweet is making the rounds, and it's absolutely infuriating me.
Listen very closely: the only thing that makes it hard to be a "bitcoiner" is your own retarded LARPatarian notions that you have to make more LARPatarians instead of more bitcoiners. That's it. You are playing this shit on hard mode unnecessarily.
All those people who turned on bitcoin on their Square point of sale systems? Those are bitcoiners, and they didn't have to read a single fucking page of Human Action or listen to a single minute of Jeff Booth droning ON AND ON about deflation.
Stop punching yourself in the face!

Nobody sits you down and says, hey, if you spend one weekend actually reading about money, you will lose ...
