I watched The Long Walk last night, and some things occur to me: 1. Mark Hamil is not very talented. The fact he's getting more work is disappointing. 2. The critics are insane for inflating the review scores of this movie. It's literally a textbook in trite -- you're over the expositional concept before the story even starts, and then it just harangues you with its tired messaging, over and over. It's also unnecessarily grotesque.
