Still emotionally dealing with the fact that there are 12 train emojis and no bulldozer emoji. My Granby visit feels incomplete.

Bitcoin hedge wizard. Do not consult me unless as a last resort.
Pro tip: if you have one of these little bastidges, and the touch terminals go tits up, lick your fingers. Don't be afraid to work the dongle at the bottom, because that will close the circuit too. Yeah that's it. No, it's not weird at all. Keep going.

Wherein Bitcoin Core reluctantly admits they are a political entity.

"Medbeds" is the dumbest fucking conspiracy in service of a transparent scam I have ever seen. Honestly, the people that literally buy into it must have some kind of worms chewing on their brainstem.
Are we entering the era of the NPC bitcoin pleb?
Core is consigned to the position that the only nodes that "matter" are economic nodes -- nodes that receive significant amount of bitcoiners.
Core is also consigned to a future where a successful bitcoin is one where on-chain transactions are for heavily-used layer 2 solutions that commit L2 activity inside *ideally* expensive transactions that won't even look like traditional financial bitcoin activity. Bitcoin becomes, at best, a metadatabase.
So, why should a pleb run a node if they have
1) no bearing on the health of the network (beyond being free chain cloud backup storage) and
2) no chance of competing in the fee market for block space?
The CSAM issue was always a stupid point from which to argue. It was just red meat for the non-thinking QAnon-adjacent wing of bitcoiners.

The future is amazing. Why lament the absence of flying cars or jetpacks when we can jailbreak our appliances and turn them into Bitcoin nodes?

Left curve paste-eating retards take the bitcoin risk because they don't know any better, want to get rich, and have very little to lose.
Right curve galaxy brain retards take the bitcoin risk, because the alternative is to needlessly lose a lot to inflation and spend their days surrounded by midcurvers.
I don't know where I'm going with this, but this is the extent of my observations socializing with Bitcoiners so far.
