I am finding that the volume of books I read is completely unrelated whether they change my mind.
It is much better to trash a book if I'm not connecting with it after the first few chapters.
It is much better to read the chapter of a good book four times:
1st pass: With the intent to understand the major ideas of a chapter
2nd pass: Highlighting the good supporting arguments, and asking questions in the margins with a pen
3rd pass: Turning your highlights and questions into written notes
4th pass: Turning your notes into an Obsidian notebook

"On net, has it really saved me any time? Negative. Quite the opposite, I figure I've spent more time toying with it than being productive. With continued use, I would expect I can continue to finagle it to do some of the more menial, every-day tasks and only trivially simplify my life."

Recently told a friend that I don't use AI at all for refining or just vomiting ideas. He looked confused.
"I don't need an invisible friend," I expanded.
Confusion turned to a look of weird dismay.
I am surprised-not-surprised that Bitcoiners (and their influencers) don't want to discuss their technical authorities (including Core developers) who sought funds from Epstein or even likely went to the island -- all at a time when it was well-established that he was a convicted pedophile and solicitor of child prostitution with a mountain of federal evidence that he was a sex trafficker.
I'm not talking about a witch hunt. Just something more than a shruggie. Then again, our mascot is an ostrich, which characteristically sticks its heads in the ground.
