Regularly, a narrative takes hold that bitcoin is "stuck" and needs X to happen in order to create a massive wave of interest. We get X eventually, and there's no massive wave of interest. Segwit. Lightning. Taproot. Merchant point-of-sale option. Etc... Quantum resistance is the new X.

The one thing that creeps me out about AI is not even about AI -- it's how some people are so desperate to escape lonliness that they will deep LARP a relationship with AI.
