PATUM 0.5.6 is out • Bitcoin Knots 29.4.3: the release that enforces the rolling coinbase maturity from block 979,919. • If your node runs 29.4.2, update it before block 980,020 (Update node in the panel, or patum -update): after that a 29.4.2 node accepts spends that 29.4.3 rejects, and a block built on it can be lost. PATUM Node Umbrel 1.0.4 is out • Required update before block 979,919: Bitcoin Knots 29.4.3 (final). • From block 979,919 each new coinbase matures on its own after 25,920 blocks (~180 days); coinbases mined between 973,440 and 979,918 still unlock at block 979,920. • A node still on 29.4.2 would follow a different rule after that block, so update now. • Knots has not published 29.4.3 binaries yet, so PyBLOCK built them from Luke Dashjr's signed v29.4.3 tag (tests, symbol and security checks passed). • Same data and settings: nothing else to do. PyBLØCK ᛒ Android 1.3 (190) is out • Mined rewards follow the network's final rule: from block 979,919 each new reward unlocks on its own after about 180 days (25,920 blocks). • Each locked reward now shows its own unlock block and a progress bar. • Rewards mined between 973,440 and 979,918 still unlock at block 979,920. • Lightning: SEE ALL now loads your whole payment history, page by page, and a slow connection no longer empties the list. • Recent activity shows the last 10 payments. ᛚ Laguz 0.1.11 is out • The first setup no longer fails with "app is busy". The first start creates (or restores) your node wallet and can wait for lnd or for a Bitcoin node that is still syncing, which may take a few minutes. The setup screen gave up after 30 seconds, and trying again failed with "app is busy". Now it keeps waiting and shows what it is doing ("Creating your node wallet…" / "Restoring your node from the recovery phrase…"). • Includes 0.1.10: restore from your 24-word recovery phrase (plus your channel.backup for the funds in channels), and wumbo channels up to 1 XBT on Umbrel. Laguz Umbrel 0.1.11 is out • Fix for the first setup: the first start can take a few minutes (creating or restoring your node wallet, or waiting for the Bitcoin node), and the setup screen gave up after 30 seconds; trying again then failed with "app is busy". • Now the screen waits and shows what it is doing. • Also in this version: restore from your 24-word recovery phrase (with your channel.backup for the funds in channels) and wumbo channels up to 1 XBT. • Same channels, same data: nothing to do. Laguz Hub StartOS 0.1.11 is out • The first setup no longer fails with "app is busy" when the first start takes a few minutes; the setup screen waits and shows what it is doing. • Includes 0.1.10: the restore entry in Advanced Setup is fixed (on StartOS the 24 words are restored in Lightning Fork). • Same data, nothing to do. Laguz Umbrel 0.1.10 is out • Restore from your 24-word recovery phrase works again: on a fresh install, Advanced Setup → "Restore from 24-word Recovery Phrase" brings back your node and its on-chain balance, and with your channel.backup file the funds that were in channels too. • Bigger channels: Laguz now accepts and opens channels above 16,777,215 sats (wumbo) with nodes that allow them too, up to 1 XBT per channel. • Same channels, same data: nothing to do. Laguz Hub StartOS 0.1.10 is out • The restore entry in Advanced Setup is fixed. • Laguz no longer offers the 12-word phrase of other wallets; on StartOS your node wallet belongs to the Lightning Fork package, so Laguz explains that the 24 words are restored there. • Laguz always uses its lnd backend. • Same data, nothing to do. pyblockMiner 0.2.41 is out • Security and reliability update. • Recommended for everyone, especially rigs running --auto-update or headless. • Safer self-update: the miner only accepts a release version of the form x.y.z and checks every download against the release's SHA256SUMS.txt before installing it. • A mismatch installs nothing. • Headless / HiveOS / systemd: the log kept going silent after the first 300 lines (blocks, GPU down, pool outages stopped reaching journald). • Fixed. • Donation: if the donation gateway is down, nothing is owed for that time.
