And that's me, probably take a another few days away from Nostr. I get too emotionally involved in the stupid arguments. None of it impacts my life, trying to focus more on other stuff. I gotta figure out what I want to do next, overstaying my welcome here. I should have moved before winter. I should be planning the next harvest trail and finding accommodation before the European backpackers plan their trips.

I'm not disappointed bip 110 failed, I expected it to, I'm new to Bitcoin and ignorant about the history and technical side of things but I could see exactly what was going to happen. What has actually disappointed me is the "victory laps" from people who risked and gained absolutely nothing from this. The people who sat on the sidelines alongside me watching. Taking the opportunity to kick other people after they're already down and taking credit for a victory they had absolutely no part it.

We will probably see the same thing happen to everything. All the bitcoin scammers left backdoors in all of their products to steal people's money it seems. Just avoid using Bitcoin if you don't want to get scammed. View quoted note →

Notice how all these bad people, the ones who support israel, support Blackrock, support Michael Saylor, support core. They all happen to have links to Epstein. Very interesting. View quoted note →

Bip 110 started? Did blockchain fork yet? All the coretards said I would get double bitcoin to spend the moment bip110 started.

Wizard level industry disruptor, wont be programming anything after his fingers are broken. I genuinely believe it was an accident, but consequences don't give a fuck about intentions, he's going to get wrenched. View quoted note →

I need to find more #australians to follow, or just people in other places with fucked up sleeping patterns that are active during the day here. Suggest accounts to follow that are normally active at this time of day. #asknostr

If it was me. I would track Odell down, visit him in person, use my powers of persuasion to make him compensate me directly from his own wallet. View quoted note →

Judging from the ground footage, a lot of the concrete and asbestos go turned into dust as it slammed into the ground at free fall speed. Somehow the steel was all cut on diagonal angles or blown to bits by explosions that trailed down the buildings as everything above them collapsed in. I ain't no scientist, but I've done layman's research and read what actual scientists have said. The only real explanation is that god changed the laws of physics for a few brief moments, isolated to those 3 buildings in NYC on that day. View quoted note →

#asknostr If I buy a second hand coldcard. Is there a way to make sure it's safe? Like factory resetting or reinstalling the firmware? I'm not concerned about the seed generation not being random. I just figured this could be a good opportunity to get a cheap second hand coldcard. I'm informed enough to assume any and all second hand hardware wallets are comprised with software that drains your funds first chance it gets.

Feel so bad for those those fell victim to bad code relying on the coldcard devices to generate their seed phrases. The way that all these influencers are trying to shift the blame to customers "why didn't you roll your own dice" Salt in the wound, I would absolutely lose my shit if someone asked me why I didn't roll my own dice, especially if that person was promoting the device and told me to trust it in the first place.

Advice for all the podcasters who got paid to recommend #coldcard Stop with the bullshit damage control. Apologize. "I'm sorry, I took money to promote an inferior product that I personally don't use" "I understand if you no longer trust me, you never should have trusted me to begin with, my income relies on advertising" Just be honest, instead of drawing shit out and trying to convince people you generally believed coldcard was superior. Because if you genuinely believed coldcard was superior and you trusted it to generate your seed, you would be the one getting robbed. I'm not seeing any of these podcasters cry about losing their own coins, I'm only seeing do damage control "it's not my fault you did what I told you to do"

Seems more trustworthy than coldcard. Even when you're ignorant about how technology works like me, following the money trail and figuring out who influencers what and what they gain from it is probably enough to make informed decisions. I don't have enough Btc for it to matter, but some of you, I know you got your life savings in this shit already. I wouldn't put my life savings into anything I didn't also understand, but following the money trails is a good place to start View quoted note →
