A coffee shop wants to accept Bitcoin and receive euros. Sounds simple, but it isn't. Here's the gap 👇 In the EU, self-custody is the sane way for a business to accept Bitcoin payments. Routing customer payments into a CASP's custody is a compliance headache you don't want. Great if you're stacking Bitcoin on your balance sheet. But most businesses want something else: accept Bitcoin, settle in euros. No volatility on revenue. Predictable numbers for the accountant. And honestly – it's better payment infrastructure. Cheaper than card rails even with a standard off-ramp fee. No chargebacks. Euros in the bank in seconds, not days. So the flow looks obvious: Bitcoin → your own wallet → licensed euro off-ramp. And since it's your own verified wallet, even the 1k euro transfer rule stops being a blocker. Now the huge but. Who signs the forward transaction? Deposit and sell manually every time – that's not a payment experience, that's a part-time job. Let a third party sign for you – the moment someone else can move your funds, that's custody. Custody needs a CASP license under MiCA. Travel rule and all. You're back where you started. For merchants running their own BTCPay server, we built a plugin that auto-forwards to euros while the keys stay with the merchant. Here's a demo: But the coffee shop doesn't run a BTCPay server. That's exactly what we're building at Bringin – accept Bitcoin, settle in euros, dedicated IBAN, clean exports for your accountant. Without anyone but you touching your keys. We're seeing the demand firsthand. One step at a time ⚡

Developing countries need Bitcoin more than anyone else. Unfortunately, it is hard to build a bridge from their currency to Bitcoin with no regulation around cryptocurrencies.

We built a demo where an AI agent buys an eSIM and pays using Bitcoin. The payment is made from a Euro balance using Lightning. No credit card,—just AI transacting in Bitcoin. Here’s what happens in the demo: -> The AI picks the best eSIM plan (Rigged for the Demo) -> It makes a Bitcoin payment over Lightning -> It uses a Euro balance to send sats This works using: -> Lightning for instant and cheap transactions -> Bringin APIS exposed via MCP Model context protocol Bitcoin is internet-native money. AI agents will need a way to transact, and Bitcoin is the best fit. But there are scaling issues with Bitcoin and being able to provide secure controlled access. That's where Lightnign and Nostr Wallet Connect come into the picture. They enable instant, cheap payments with controlled secure access to AI to make payments. Bitcoin adoption is not keeping up with AI development. Most AI services are still stuck with fiat payment rails—slow, expensive, and restrictive. That’s where on/offramp providers should step in. Like how Bringin is doing. I also wrote a blog post breaking down how Bitcoin can power AI payments. Check it out here:

I use Iris on Decktop and Damus on my phone. I am curious to see how various clients can offer consistency in the content I publish and the various features these clients provide.

I am the founder of Bringin. Building with from 2 years with minimal funds from some angels. My Linkedin account was restricted for two days. And now I can't see my profile on LinkedIn. A post about Bringin.xyz was reported, and my access is blocked; my profile has been removed. With many conversations and posts, the interaction seems to be halted, lost! I did no wrong or violated any policies. I was updating the progress of my project. O

Fiat to Bitcoin onramps are obvious for Bitcoin adoption. And an instant and safe Bitcoin to fiat offramp is essential to Bringin the next billion users to Bitcoin. It helps merchants to accept Bitcoin, consumers earn or get paid in Bitcoin, as they can spend it easily.

Stripe and Transfer-wise are hacky, stop-gap solutions created with brute force techniques for the insanely complex fiat money structure the world has today. Yet still adding insane value for so many people. It makes me wonder how beautiful #Bitcoin is.

Quick adoption in Lightning shows that people want to spend Bitcoin. The amount of Bitcoin locked in is increased by 60% compared to last year. Indicating the number of people who wants to spend Bitcoin is rising.
