A fresh coat shellac on the soundboard after bridge placement, I’m planning on using osmo poly x as the finish here for a real raw natural feel, but as it’s somewhat a penetrating oil I’m sealing the top with shellac to keep from dampening the tone. Been working on this Stewmac Dreadnought kit for a bit, accidentally purchased the glued in neck option instead of the bolt on one, lets say you better follow their directions exactly for that to go smoothly, it wasn’t easy but I finally have the neck angle correct

This neck is nearly complete. From previous posts, I added a headstock veneer on the back side to hide the scarf joint. The benefit is it looks extra custom.

When a neck warps but the fretboard is too pretty to scrap, ya gotta take it off, I do this with a simple clothing iron and a thin blade.

Been working at this arm bevel , it’s really kicking my ass. Flame maple is NOT cooperative , bout got it licked though, little bit of glue fill and inlay and she’ll look nice.
