My New Year’s resolutions for #2025: - Read more (#2024: just 1 book finished:-/) - Travel more (2024: 3 countries visited, 1 for business, 2 privately, 1 of them for the 1st time) - Be more active on #nostr (shouldn’t be too hard with just 80 posts and 44 replies since 2nd August 2023) - Spend more time outdoors #NewYearsEve #NYE #NewYear #NewYearsResolution #ReadingGoals #TravelGoals

Good morning #nostr! (Good last morning of 2024!)

For Christmas I got a Braiins Mini Miner BMM 101 and so far I really like it: - Silent - Easy to setup - Works over Wi-Fi - I've never tried any #Bitcoin mining before, so this is at least a 1st tiny step for me - Hashrate ~1 TH/s (without overclocking), probably makes more sense as a lottery (solo) miner, but so far I've got it directed to Braiins Pool and get about 57 sats each day (via #Lightning)

Decided to become a Primal Legend - I want to support #nostr as much as possible and really like what @primal has been doing

Waking up at 5 AM today was definitely more pleasant than usual… Congrats on 100k #Bitcoin to all!

After listening to the latest @CITADEL DISPATCH I decided to at least try the @primal premium: the custom primal.net lightning/nostr address is nice, but the feature I like the most so far is the Content Backup - I already try to self-host most of my pictures, and this way I can easily download and backup myself also all the notes and other nostr events

Really liked this episode of Citadel Dispatch—especially the @M A D E X Manifesto and the discussion about signing physical art with #Bitcoin and an attached Opendime. There was also an interesting mention of BTC Prague. Unfortunately, I’m also one of those who wasn’t ready to spend that many sats there and didn’t buy any MADEX art at the time.
