Tis the season for fresh partridge!!
This was my first time cooking partridge and it was a success. I pan cooked it in lots of quality butter, garlic, fresh thyme, salt and pepper.
I’m open to any of your go to recipes if you would like to share. ☺️


Often friends will joke that they will show up with a shovel just name the time and place. Well tonight I put that saying into practice!
A friend’s house closes tomorrow. I asked if the rhubarb bush was removed and it hadn’t been and they weren’t sure if it would.
I immediately replied “I can strap a headlight on and dig for you!”
She was thrilled! With a headlight, flashlight and shovel in tow, the job got done! 😎
I helped rescue a hosta, a rhubarb bush, peonies and hydrangeas.


When things are weighing on you, get to the gym and push through it. I promise you’ll feel lighter and have a stronger head game when you leave!

Just as our phones will not work unless we charge them, we too are the same in respect to our faith.
We must charge our faith whether it’s being restored with a church service where a powerful sermon is delivered, spending some time in our bibles or just plain and simple speaking to Jesus throughout our day or in prayer.
Sometimes you may think God is not beside you or question “why is this happening or why is this happening to me?!” But maybe it’s happening for you. Perhaps that frustrating person or upsetting situation is designed to shape you into the wonderful person you are yet to come.

Moose season is soon approaching and that was quite evident in the gym today. I was surrounded by men grunting as they were working out and it literally sounded like they were doing moose calls in tandem with one another. The testosterone was thick in the air this morning!

Today’s brunch is farm fresh chicken eggs cooked in hand rolled Amish butter with Redmond’s organic seasoning salt & cracked pepper topped with hand picked parsley and home grown Candyland tomatoes.
I definitely ate the tomatoes first. 😉
