The main principle of military discipline is to reduce men, to what are essentially machines. They have no volition of their own, but are actuated by the will of their officers. The intense fear of their officers overrides all fear of the enemy. They go into battle when ordered, with no more thought or concern than an automaton.

Is it better to own your house or rent ? In my opinion it is now better to rent . Houses are overpriced because they have become an “investment”, a way to maintain wealth in spite of inflation . Ironically inflation is caused by banks creating money out of thin air, when people take out a mortgage to buy a house. 🤡
