Rather than NIP-07, I think each client should get its own derived key and that key would be sent & stored server side. Then you could just have regular login flows. Trust would be needed but as the xpriv holder you should be able to invalidate keys.
In short, the current signing system sucks, it's not nearly user friendly enough.

Torrent tracker RARBG was closed. I don't know if there's a shortage of torrent trackers, but running a tracker on nostr might be an opening. I think it may be illegal in a lot of places, though. At least I assume so, because there's no big time fediverse torrent tracker.
The newest move(?) by Twitter crypto scammers, of making a fake trader twitter account and then adding bots to praise that account, is a smart move, because it makes it difficult to ban the fake trader account, since it could be real, and so they don't lose the botting investment.
Making web apps for nostr is borderline waste of time, mobile users get locked out because of private key shenanigans: the ux is terrible
Too much porn in the global feed, have to disable images.
"Fix the money" -- in the coming of age of AI, the phrase should be "obsolete all the money"
the hashtag system doesn't work at all
Imagine actually going to a "bitcoin conference"
Imagine putting up a stall for a fucking app
I really don't get people
`naddr...` links shouldn't even exist anymore... `nevent` should just work, and work correct...
Nutritional science is so biased toward meat eaters... On a plant based diet, it's so difficult to know what to believe.
I cannot tell if high protein is bad for longevity on a vegan diet, or not. Some studies say it's bad for carnies, but is that because they reduce meat consumption, or is it really the protein? And is there a difference between plant and animal protein there? I assume GPT10 will be able to answer these for me
Rather than work like Twitter, nostr clients could flat out work like Slack. Maybe.
Me zapping people should show up on my feed.
Fasting one day a week means fasting for 14% of the time (1/7). That sounds like a lot? Not sure if good idea.
Devcontainers are pretty sweet! Is it only a vscode thing for now, though? The extension wasn't even open source :feelsbad:
aws fucking cdk, man. Feels like working with magic spider webs: works like magic, breaks like spider web
Bluesky vs nostr streams: https://bluesky-vs-nostr.vercel.app/
Bluesky looks like a winner to me, at the moment. Adding more and more relays has the downside of introducing more spam content.

Seriously, when is gpt-4 api access rolling out for the plebs?
