@Max in your latest chat with @Guy Swann you said something that tickled my mind. You mentioned that we already have a way to greatly reduce the size it takes to include all transactions from a block. IIIRC, you mentioned something like 8 KB. Can you please provide some more info or tell me where can one read about this? It is fascinating.

Hey @Plebeian Market, Is there a way to filter by location or the delivery distance? Sometimes I run into something I really like only to realize it's across the world :( Thank you for your service :)

Keep talking, and take my money! "Austrian economists theorize but cannot build. Cypherpunks build but lack theory. This book synthesizes both traditions into a unified strategy for making the state irrelevant." https://towardsliberty.com/pop #FTS

Apart from #cashu mints being custodial and having the ability to rug pull you, who prevents the mint to double-spend? Is there any mechanism that can verify the mint has an actual backing for issuing tokens or can they issue them out of the thin air? #asknostr and maybe even go straight to the source and ask the master himself @calle

@Max I cannot wait to hold and read "The Praxeology of Privacy" in hard cover version. Will there be pre-orders? What can we (as a community) do to help?

People MUST learn about what money is and how it works. We're lucky to have Bitcoin as a corrective measure, but "educated masses" would be a real blow to the system! View quoted note β†’

Everyone (and their mom) should read "The Gold Standard". It provides a fascinating historical record that exposes the modern banking scam. One cannot help but feel devastated by the waste of the human productivity, potential, and ultimately - a waste of countless human lives. All orchestrated by a relatively small group of people (if we can call them that). Profit and power over everything. War is lucrative, humans are disposable. I was LIVID while reading the history part! Even though I didn't need any convincing even before this, there is now no doubt in my mind that they would do anything imaginable and unimaginable to us. The next time someone says - " There's no way they would go that far", I will only laugh (or cry?). People seriously need to study history. I don't know if real Saifedean Ammous is on Nostr, but if you are - thank you. If "The Bitcoin Standard" was transformative, "The Gold Standard" is eye opening.

"the night is darkest before the dawn” isn’t just a fun thing to say, it reveals something fundamental about human nature: both individually and collectively we will almost invariably put things off until we *have* to do them. View quoted note β†’

Updating @Zapstore from the Zapstore app. That's meta AF. New UI looks slick. I'll keep an eye on the functionality. Great work, team! πŸš€
