Cats in Lilies. I've been working on it since June 25 and I have about 7,500 stitches done which is around 50%. That's around 166 stitches per day and if I go at the current rate it'll be done by late September. This is a stamped kit that is on 11 ct aida, stitched three over one. I'm stitching it cross country using the sewing method. #xstitch #crossstitch image

imaginative play is kicking in for taro. I've eaten so many megablok snacks and put megablok shoes on my feet today.

I make this mini muffin recipe for my three little ones. they like them a lot and I do too. no added sugar and egg-free because one of them has an egg allergy. pictured with optional blueberry but I prefer to make it without Ingredients 2 ripe bananas 2 tablespoons ground flax seed 5 tablespoons warm water 1 tsp vanilla extract 100g melted butter 160g all purpose flour 1.5 tsp baking powder blueberries (fresh or frozen, optional) oil/butter to grease pan equipment two large bowls one butter melting vessel measuring spoons mixing spoon/spatula one small bowl and whisk/fork for flax eggs mini muffin pan two spoons for scooping into the pan Short version 0. Preheat to 375°F and grease pans 1. Combine the wets 2. Combine the drys 3. Add the dry to the wet and mix until no dry remains. Do not over mix. 4. Bake for 15 minutes 5. Cool in pan Long version because karo talks too much 0. Preheat oven to 375°F and grease pans. Oven and pan needs to be ready to go because this recipe rises based on baking powder and it loses efficacy once it gets mixed with liquid. 1. Combine ground flax seed and water. Whisk until combined and is starting to be a little gloopy. Set aside. 2. Melt butter. I sliced into thick pads into a glass measuring cup and microwave in 20 second bursts. 3. Mash bananas in a mixing bowl. I go til there are only small chunks remaining. 4. Combine flour and baking powder into a second mixing bowl. I wrote 1.5 tsp baking powder but I end up throwing in an extra pinch of it for, I dunno, it makes me feel better about not being able to get as much lift because I'm not using eggs. 5. Add flax eggs and vanilla to bananas. Stir melted butter if it has separated while sitting and then add it to the mixture. Mix everything together until combined, mostly homogenous. 6. Prepare to work fast for the remaining steps cuz baking powder will start lifting when it gets combined with liquid ingredients. 7. Add the flour and baking powder mix into the banana bowl. When I add it, I try to cover as much surface area of the wet ingredients with the flour instead of just dumping it in one spot in the middle. 8. Mix it all together until there are no white flour dry spots. Use a gently folding motion where you insert your spatula under the mixture and fold it over like you're flipping an over medium egg. 9. Spoon the batter into the mini muffin tin. About level or just under filled is fine. top with a fresh or frozen blueberry. 10. Bake for 15 minutes. 11. Cool in the pan to give it support while cooling. Some questions I had for myself that you may also have 100g butter? why not 113g which is one stick of butter? I don't know. It's what I wrote. Past karo could not be reached for a comment. Present karo says an extra 13g of butter will be okay if you want to skip scaling and use the whole stick, probably. ground flax seed? I thought this was gonna be one of those fancy organic grocer things but nope, Walmart has it. can I make regular sized muffins with this recipe? I've never done it. It probably would work. If you try it, let me know how it goes. can I make a double batch? Yes. I did this for the first time recently and doubling the ingredients works. Can I freeze these? We set out 6 to eat the next day and froze the rest. To reheat, I microwave for about 20 to 40 seconds (depending on how many) and then toast them in the toaster oven. is this gonna work? I ask myself this everytime especially as I mix the butter into the wet ingredients. folding, what a silly way to describe stirring. I'm just gonna stir it really fast, vigorously and for an extra long time to make sure everything is definitely mixed. surely, that will be okay? It'll be okay if you like chewy, dense muffins instead tender, fluffy muffins. Aggressive stirring will start to work the flour to form gluten and doing it for more time will lessen the lifting power of the baking powder. why is there a step zero? because I forgot to write preheat the oven, just like I forget to preheat the oven before baking. will you put this on zap cooking? yes! but not sure when. I wrote too many words for this simple recipe. I hope you guys make these and they bring joy to your life while you eat them. If not, taro and the twins will gladly consume them on your behalf.

would it be weird if I shared my mini muffin recipe right now? the situation with Coinkite and Coldcard is heartbreaking and angering. It's being talked about it by everyone. but also, these muffins have no added sugar and is egg free cuz one of the kiddos has allergies. I've made it a few times and I'm kinda proud of it.
