yarn procured ✅ socks knitted ✅ time for finishing steps like closing up the toes, securing the ends and giving them a soak so the stitches can settle into their final form. From left to right Wool/Mohair blend from USA grown sheep and goats. I'm most excited to see how this comes out because the idea of having an all natural sock yarn (no nylon) is really appealing. From sheep to sock is all made by small businesses in the US. 100% superwash Merino hand dyed yarn that I hadn't tried before. I like the speckles. The yarn ball is the next crazy sock. A sneak peek! It's giving wine vibes. Wool/nylon socks. Very hard wearing and sturdy. I have a few socks made in this yarn and available to purchase already. This pair is different in that it has ribbing which hugs the leg and foot really well. Pinky stripe socks. These are actually all done. I just wanted to put them in the photo 😅 Not pictured, a custom pair of orange and purple mixmatch set. just added all the NST monitoring appointments that I'll be having between now and delivery day into my calendar. so. many. appointments. On the bright side, I'll probably get a fair amount of knitting done.
