Now, they mostly hold Bitcoin. The key point is 11,500 BTC were sucked from the system in 2 days by 1 player. That alone is approximately 13 days of supply. In addition, IBIT Spot ETF only managed an average of 25% of the volume over two days - so we can assume 46K in 2 days was sucked out (yeah, I know $GBTC impacted this).  Net net, if this pace continues, we're facing a severe supply crunch. Assuming 11,500 x 4 = 46,000 or 23,000 per day, that's 25.56 times the daily production consumed by US ETFs per day alone... forget about retail investors, other global ETFs etc. Ignore the price fluctuations; this asset is incredibly hard, and if this continues, we will face an extreme supply crunch. #Bitcoin  ETF launch was a huge success (despite egregious GBTC fees)” What he doesn’t include in these calculations is that there is a halving in ~85 days, cutting the number to ~450 bitcoin per day.

They’re saying the national gas average is $3.85 and I wanna know where tf the gas stations are that are only charging $3.85. I haven’t seen gas at that price in probably over a year and I’ve travelled to multiple states.

If you think the government used DEWs to start the fires in Hawaii you seriously need to log off and touch grass. Sec. 16 of the Clayton Act 1914 - any person threatened with loss or damage by a “violation of the antitrust laws” can obtain a court injunction. You can also sue for treble damages if you can show you actually suffered monetary damages. Monopolization, under the Sherman act, requires “the possession of monopoly power in the relevant market”. The relevant market here is the App Store/iOS. Monopoly power means substantial market power that is durable rather than fleeting. Market power means the ability to raise prices profitability above those that would be charged in a competitive market (i.e., 30% tax would not be charged in a competitive market). Of course there’s other issues, but on its face Damus seems to have a valid cause of action against apple for violating anti trust laws and damaging Damus’ business. Is it time for a Damus legal fund??
