I dont know how to quantify the collaborative building nature on nostr. Its more than lines of code, and devs on nostr. Devs pushing and building on each others work on app or protocol level does not exist on x, bluesky, mastodon today in the way it exists on nostr. Extremely optimistic on the future. The few that understand this are here. Grateful.

Imagine if corn subsidies are removed. What may follow? -eliminate damage to and prolong life of internal combustion engines -no more subsidized industrial corn sludge in foods reduces diabetes -farmers not forced into industrial monoculture which expends the environment -potential for small family regenerative farms to compete with corporate mega farm corps -reduce synthetic fertilizer outflow to waterbodies

What I appreciate most about @calle is not his effort to build the future free, private banking system for free people. It is that he advocates for and enables an entire ecosystem around this vision. Pitching, and building up those around him, so that the experimentation expands, and nature may select one or more winning freedom tech solutions. I am grateful for Chaum’s idiosyncracies and taking it as far a world class cryptographer can take his invention. I am grateful to observe @calle build and enlist and entire community of galaxy devs and contributors to swing the pendulum of power back to the individual and family unit, away from the monetary subverters.
