Dear Nostr! How can I find any #bitcoin / #LightningNetwork devs in Russia?

First time using HodlHodl! Exciting to get BTC finally without a centralized exchange! I was always doing P2P but ive never done it in a non KYC way!

Bitcoin is a decentralized system that allows for unsensorable transactions. However, many initiatives built on Bitcoin still have centralized components, leading to censorship. #[0] aimed to create a censorship-resistant platform for artists, but they have now cancelled their service in non-aligned countries. I dont blame them for this of course as I understand this is due to external pressure, however, I do invite all the community to meditate about this. The west was once the bastion of freedom, and now it represents a strong beacon of sensorship. That means that there is no where to "base" your initiatives thats not outside of the reach of the worlds overlords. We will have a leash in our necks as long as we live in the centralized world. Lets call it how it is There is only one way out of this nightmare obviously. True freedom and openness can only be achieved through decentralization. The current model of the internet is broken and centralized entities lead to censorship. We must push for a truly decentralized internet to ensure freedom for creators everywhere. Nostr of course, its a great example of this and now we need to build inside structures like this. Its the only way our freedom of thought will survive in the long run. Thanks to the wavlake team for trying and we wish them great sucsess in their project. We will move towards centralized options as we know first hand how it feels to be excluded just because of your ip number. The new wave of innovation is going to come from "cancelled" countries. Get ready as we have the determination of someone who was kicked out of the party. Oh its going to be a great journey towards freedom.

I like the feed of nostr. It feels random and free. Close friends rarely appear on my main feed. I find myself visiting their profiles to see how they are. I wouldn't describe it as "lost in the doom of twitter". I would describe it more like a concert. Loads of people congregated to hear the music of life. You need to go through oceans of people so you can find your friends. And you meet some wild cats along the ride that change your course and the course of others. Your friends are not "fed" to you. Sometimes you catch a friend in a thread in your main feed and this would be a pleasant surprise that invites you to click into your bro's profile, perhaps drop a line or two in the PM. organize a meetup. All of this is running in a decentralised, chaotic and synchronised way. We are in the early days of a totally different internet.

Fuck centralization. F u c k centralization.

So wait... I see that #[0] is sending me a sat for each post I make! Does that mean that those tagged on the Zap Wave 6 are a sort of the... ".... chosen ones? " Did we had to go through #hellthread and to survive it humbly so we can then experience the glory of being zapped for each post we make till the end of time? This has been a wild ride and a very intense internet experience that I haven't felt since the 00's. Im so happy that this happened and to be a part of this amazing renaissance of the internet! Thank you to all of you involved in Zap Wave 6! Its been wild and lit!
