I think i just thought about my favourite explanation (for now) of what is bitcoin is. I imagine the following scenario between two friends, Bitcoiner and Nocoiner. BTC : Hey man, check this project out Nocoin : What Project? BTC : Bitcoin. Nocoin : Whats it all about? BTC : Imagine that we all decide to store a database of who owns what. Imagine that we do this in a really legit way. Imagine that we store a copy of that same database in many milions of computers all over the world in a decentralised manner. Nocoin : Is that what bitcoin is? BTC : Much Much Much more more than that. But thats a good place to start.

The plebbin marketplace is another case of people building within the bitcoin "ethos" just to later behave like proper fiat clowns and leave a 150 Million people nation barred from the site just because they don't like the geopolitical moves of their leadership. Bitcoin is a decentralized system that allows for unsensorable transactions. However, many initiatives built on Bitcoin still have centralized components, leading to censorship. #[0] aimed to create a censorship-resistant platform for artists, but they have now cancelled their service in non-aligned countries. I dont blame them for this of course as I understand this is due to external pressure, however, I do invite all the community to meditate about this. The west was once the bastion of freedom, and now it represents a strong beacon of sensorship. That means that there is no where to "base" your initiatives thats not outside of the reach of the worlds overlords. We will have a leash in our necks as long as we live in the centralized world. Lets call it how it is There is only one way out of this nightmare obviously. True freedom and openness can only be achieved through decentralization. The current model of the internet is broken and centralized entities lead to censorship. We must push for a truly decentralized internet to ensure freedom for creators everywhere. Nostr of course, its a great example of this and now we need to build inside structures like this. Its the only way our freedom of thought will survive in the long run. Thanks to the wavlake team for trying and we wish them great sucsess in their project. We will move towards centralized options as we know first hand how it feels to be excluded just because of your ip number. The new wave of innovation is going to come from "cancelled" countries. Get ready as we have the determination of someone who was kicked out of the party. Oh its going to be a great journey towards freedom.
