GM NOSTR
The villainization of sunlight will be looked back on as one of the dumbest ideas humans ever had. I know so many people who are terrified to be outside for more than 10 minutes without wearing sunscreen. They aren’t able to take a step back and comprehend that humans have lived on Earth outside without artificial light and sunscreen for literally thousands of years.
People have been psyoped so hard into thinking that the ozone layer doesn’t exist anymore and they’re getting lethal UV radiation exposure every time they go outside (while simultaneously getting blasted with non-native EMF, but that’s a separate conversation).
And young people can’t understand why they’re so anxious and depressed. Sigh.
Moral of the story, go outside and touch grass today. You just might feel better.
I know this is nostr and not tradfi BTC treasury bro X. However, it’s actually interesting that MSTR is building out their own yield curve and going full on offensive attack directly at the entire traditional financial system. Intentionally or not, they’re building out the infrastructure to become a digital nation state.
This is why custody is so damn important. Most of us here agree MSTR doesn’t own any bitcoin so in reality they’re not as powerful as people think they are. But hear me out:
In an alternate universe where MSTR takes custody of 600K+ BTC, Saylor becomes one of if not the most powerful man in the world as the dollar inevitably collapses and we approach hyperbitcoinization. We’re talking Mandibles type scenario. In that world, Strategy effectively becomes a black hole for global capital as nobody has faith in US institutions and the dollar loses reserve currency status. Strategy would be more powerful than any singular nation state. On some real sovereign individual type shit.
In that situation Saylor (or whoever his successor will be) could actually strong arm the US government and tell them to kick rocks. Will any of this actually happen… no. But it’s an interesting thought experiment and I’m on one this morning.
Im not a betting man but I’d guess deep in the depths of Saylor’s gigachad brain he’s had this thought before. Who knows he might be crazy enough to actually do it one day 🤷🏻♀️
One thing I’ve struggled with on my Bitcoin journey is the cliche “you don’t change Bitcoin, Bitcoin changes you”. That’s definitely been the case for me. I’ve become a better version of myself and leveled up as a human. This path forced me to get my shit together. Forced me to look in the mirror and take radical responsibility and accountability for my life. It made me quit drinking and focus on what really matters, being a better person and building a better world.
The problem I’m realizing is the more I venture down this path, the less I can relate to the people in my life. Just spent a weekend with some friends I’ve been very close with for over a decade now. It was a great time but I no longer relate to where they’re at in life or pretty much any perspective they have. That barrier prevents us from truly connecting. We live on two completely different planets. They remain stuck in Plato’s cave. I’ve naively tried to take them with me on my journey and show them truth but they don’t want it. To them I’m a crazy person.
Fortunately I’ve found others in the bitcoin community and here on Nostr that help me feel sane. However, it’s still hard for me to feel so distant to the ones you once felt the closest to, friends and family alike. Guess I’m just coming to terms with it and at the stage of acceptance. But damn I didn’t know it would be this hard
I’m convinced that Jack Kruse will go down as a pioneer and legend in the world of medicine. The mainstream will try to discredit him and label him a “conspiracy theorist” but his work will be studied for decades to come and validated by the centralized world of medicine as the Overton window shifts.
This presentation is worth a watch.
