Treat yourself good every now and then - not as a reward for surviving the grind, but as a quiet act of resistance. This world runs on depletion. Productivity is praised, exhaustion is normalized, and rest is rationed like contraband. In that system, even small acts of self-kindness become subversive. To treat yourself is not indulgence - it is a reclaiming of time, of dignity, of presence. A walk with no destination. A meal made with care. An hour offline. A moment of silence not filled with noise or purpose. These are not escapes. They are reminders: you are not a machine. You are a being with tides and textures, needs and nuance. You are allowed joy. You are allowed softness. You are allowed to be whole. So yes—treat yourself. Not just when you’ve earned it, but because you exist. Because to care for yourself, even briefly, is to whisper into the void: I am still human. image

I saw the image. I read the names. Nine children. Dr. Alaa al-Najjar’s children. Killed while she was on duty, trying to save lives. She received them in body bags. Torn apart. That’s the world we live in now. And I can’t stay silent. I won’t act like this isn’t happening. Because it is happening. Right now. In real time. A genocide of children - broadcasted 24/7. And the world scrolls past. This isn’t just violence. It’s the destruction of harmony. A shattering of what it means to be human. And it’s getting harder to hold on. To create. To believe. But I’m still here. I still care. I still feel this. And I need to say that. I need to put it down somewhere permanent. That’s why I’m writing this here. On Nostr. Because one day, everything else might be gone, deleted, censored, buried. But this… this will stay. On the chain. On the record. This is my proof that I didn’t turn away. That I witnessed. That I grieved. That I resisted. And that’s why I believe Bitcoin and Nostr matter. Not just for freedom. Not just for sovereignty. But for memory. We need permanence. We need a way to remember. Because if we don’t, the children will be erased twice - once from the world, and once from history. I refuse to let that happen. This is my timestamp. This is my heartbeat, on-chain. Trying to explain to John Carvalho why BIP 177 is a terrible idea—an outright sabotage of #Bitcoin—and all I get is a threat of being blocked. I can’t shake the feeling that something’s off, especially after seeing @jack back this proposal. Honestly, it stinks. And yes, I’ve spent hours - days - studying Bitcoin. This isn’t some knee-jerk reaction. image

These is not a meme. This actually happened in Israel. Israeli society gave IDF a green light to rape Palestinian prisoners. Those who raped became TV celebrities. This fact alone tells you all you need to know about Israel and Palestine 🇵🇸 issue. image

WHEN IT’S FICTION, YOU GET IT You watched The Matrix- and you cheered for Neo. You wanted him to break the system, to bring it crashing down. You watched V for Vendetta - and you stood with V. You quoted his words. You wore the mask. You felt the spark. You watched Braveheart - and your heart bled for freedom. You screamed with Wallace: “FREEDOM!” as if it was your fight. You watched Star Wars - and you prayed for the Empire to fall. The ragtag rebels, the outnumbered warriors, the impossible odds - you loved it. You watched 1984 - and you hated Big Brother. You swore you’d never bow to that kind of control. You watched The Hunger Games - and you stood with District 13. You saw Katniss rise and you believed rebellion was noble. You watched Apocalypto, Avatar, Spartacus - and you knew who the enemy was. The colonizers. The empire. The tyrant. The slave master. You always sided with the Resistance. Because when it’s fiction, your heart understands. Your soul understands. You feel the weight of injustice and you want it to burn. But now - Here, in real life - You stay silent. You scroll past genocide. You excuse surveillance. You kneel before the empire of comfort and fear. You’re scared to be seen. Scared to speak. Scared to risk the fragile safety of your little corner. So you do nothing. You love rebellion on screen - But when rebellion knocks at your door, You pretend it’s not there. You say you stand for truth. For freedom. For justice. Prove it. This is the moment. This is the chapter where history is written. The Resistance is not a movie. It’s a choice. Pick a side. #freepalestine image
