Not paying for something because there is a free alternative, is going in the direction of least resistance. Nature does the same. Actually not. If it is true, predators shall eat grass, or? 😂 I think nature is progressing toward balance, sustainability, and lets call it fitness. You know, survival of the fittest. Everything in nature competes. It changes who compete, with whom, and on what. If you think about it. Free stuff and paid stuff also compete with eachother. Free stuff wins this race until their users start to suffer from a drawback. Also "free" things are unsustainable. So what is free, is not really free. Therefore, you somehow pay it. And if you dont know how you pay something, how do you know that you dont overpay? How do you know you are not scammed? Sorry, I am just rambling.
