I believe a quantum attack on bitcoin will make your bitcoin more valueble. Since we will need to disable ecdsa signatures via a softfork and move to post quantum secure signatures millions of lost or inactive coins will forever be lost to history. I don't see people resisting to join the softforked chain winning since lost coins will be up for grabs and the chain with permanently lost coins will be worth more.
