Bitcoin is hard to change. That's a feature not a bug. Adding new rules by fiat and the cover of good intentions just doesn’t work. If you want to see bitcoin used as money, use the damn thing as money. You cannot change bitcoin by committee or dictate. You need overwhelming consensus. You don't want bitcoin to end up like EU producing 10s of thousands of new rules and regulations a year now amounting to over 1 million decrees. I know it's a stretch to compare Bitcoin to EU but i believe that’s the direction of travel we go if we start changing bitcoin by virtue of fiat. You can't dictate or regulate how people view, run or use bitcoin, but you can make it easy for people to use it. You cannot force people to use bitcoin as money but you can accept bitcoin as money and use it as such. We the people need to change, not bitcoin.

Weak entropy bitcoins are immediately swept. You can make a small test transaction to your newly generated wallet, leave it overnight and check if it's still there before you send more funds to it. This test is not a guarantee that you got sufficient entropy going forward but a simple safeguard anyone can do before using a new bitcoin wallet.

Minority forks of bitcoin is close to impossible to pull off. Relax don't panic. Doing nothing is the safe default. Alot of OG whales view minority fork coins as airdrops an tend to dump the fork coins on the market. The bigger your bag the bigger your incentive to defend network by dumping the minority fork coins. However as i said the safe default is to sit tight and do nothing. Just relax and let the shitstorm pass. You will have coins on both chains so no stress. This dynamic and incentive structure is one of many reasons bitcoin is so hard to change without overwhelming consensuss.

The coldcard made a seed with an entropy like a 8 character password. Keys derived from a broken RNG look exactly like keys derived from a perfect one. Entropy is a property of the process through which data is generated, not of the data itself A property u cannot verify after the fact must be evidenced at creation. Let that sink in.

Pushwagner (artist name for Terje Brofos, born 1940 in Oslo) began work on the graphic novel Soft City in 1969, and completed it in London in the mid-1970s. But the suitcase containing the originals disappeared, and was gone for more than twenty years before resurfacing in Oslo in 2002.
