Today, I was reminded why I stopped running my own lightning node... There was a planned power cut that lasted 3 hours. Fortunately, as it was planned, I simply switched off my node in advance. So my hard drive didn't get corrupted as happened to me in the past. But if had channels open, I'm pretty sure these would have been closed. And I'd have to pay to reopen them. And I'd have to move my on-chain Bitcoin back to LN... Ain't nobody got time for that! #bitcoin #lightning #noderunner
