Son. Husband. Father. Bitcoiner.
There are really two major worlds emerging, and they’re drifting farther apart every moment:
1. The Compliance‑First Camp:
This side is focused on regulation, KYC, AML, anti–terrorist financing rules, and making sure every transaction has a paper trail long enough to satisfy a small army of auditors. Their mission is to make crypto fit neatly inside existing financial frameworks—clean, trackable, and institution‑friendly.
2. The Privacy‑Driven Camp:
This group sees crypto as a tool for autonomy, censorship‑resistance, and personal freedom. They prioritize privacy, permissionless access, and minimizing the amount of personal data anyone has to hand over to use the system. To them, anonymity isn’t a bug—it’s the point.
Right now, the social contract of the crypto ecosystem is drawing an increasingly sharp line between these two bubbles. They share the same technology, but they’re living in different philosophical universes.
You can straddle both camps for now, sure, but soon it won’t be a fence you can sit on at all.

Have a peaceful day.
This place feels so dead. There ought to be a Bitcoin meetup every Friday at the Steak and Shake. Anyone? Wear something orange or get pinched.

Brands succeed when they articulate the longings we struggle to name.
