Does running my #Bitaxe supra at a higher frequency/voltage shorten its life span?

Me and a few local plebs have been talking about our bitaxe's and discussed pooling them together like a lotto syndicate. We discussed forking CK pool then configuring, also solo mining into a multisig. Has anyone done this and what was the simplest way? #bitaxe
