Fatigue is a great word. Great meme. People are tired. It takes energy to believe lies and try to act them out. Eventually you just get tired and lose the ability to pretend. In my experience the key to “success” is just kind of accepting a lot of responsibility, basically anytime someone has responsibility you just raise your hand and take it on. They only move when they need to. They don’t do the pageantry or networking thing. They don’t need to, they’re already the one who’s responsible.

It is best to focus on pain when it presents itself instead of ignoring it. Being able to endure more pain for longer is the most important factor for success. Exposure to pain reduces pain by increasing tolerance. Most destructive human behaviors are a result of attempting to avoid pain. Pain is temporary.
