There are two ways to change the world. 1. By force. 2. By creating your own world and inviting others to be apart of it. I’m only interested in the second. Not because I’m more noble or something (I’m not) but because it’s the only thing that lasts.

It took me my whole life to realize this but the reason I don’t enjoy the things many other people do is because I have a very strong internal locus of control. For me it doesn’t really matter where I am or what I’m doing, everything is the same. The external world changes around me, but my internal narrative dominates any and all situational input. This is why I’m content doing basically nothing most of the time.

Do not resent people higher than you. It’s a trap, because you cannot become something you are resenting. Admire those you wish to be like and study them. Over time you will become like them.
