Disguised as YouTube slop, this is actually a very endearing and sincere video about people growing lonely in a dying virtual world. They're all revitalised when a new guy joins with a mission to make friends. Sincere and wholesome.

💽 Sony’s concept of the “virtual reality video journalist” from the 90s. This was largely a “fuck it why not” project, as in it was just for fun. But at the same time it reflected growing ambitions around digital media, cyberculture, and the incoming internet age. image

🇺🇦 We’ve brought back our best selling t-shirt from our original ‘Stolen Languages’ collection. All 100% of the profits will be donated to Hoods crew member Sergiy Kusch, callsign ‘Bush’. He lost his arm in combat and sustained a huge head injury. As an armed volunteer, Kusch is not part of the formalised military. And so, he is not receiving any government help for the many operations needed to help heal him, despite fighting for his country. image

Just finished watching White Lotus. Whole subtext in every series: “rich people suck but at least they worked for it. Poor people are all servants or thieves or violent.” Kinda weird. Other than that it was alright though.
