One of the pressing nostr challenges currently is giving voice to new users who are not spammers. It's kind of demotivating joining as a new user and shouting into the void. You really have to make an effort to be noticed, and even then it's not guaranteed anyone will follow you. Any ideas how to resolve this?

Back when I did "web stuff" for a law firm, I remember getting tremendous joy out of over-optimizing our websites. While all law firm websites served giant images that didn't even use CDNs, we had the fastest website around. Probably faster than 99.99% of websites on the entire web. I literally watched Google's developer optimization talks to figure out how to squeeze every last bit of performance out.

Bob Lazar was told humans are containers. Maybe @jb55 is right and we are just virtual characters for the immortals. Maybe "soul" is what the player imbues their character with while they are active.

It sucks that there are people here who call space and space travel fake. They are so fixated on hating "the government" that they cannot see that "the government" is made up of many different parts with hundreds of thousands of humans. Your distrust in one area doesn't need to be reinforced in another simply because they share the label. Also, just the sheer lack of critical thinking is disappointing. Luckily, we have mute buttons.
