I miss the days where everyone was equally incorrect in their arguments. Now it’s just rehashed ChatGPT arguments and twisting of information to fit a view. Even with better information people expose all sorts of biases and incorrectly correlate different concepts.

I miss the days when the news just gave us the facts of what went down and we just accepted that as our shared reality.

It’s true that bots hallucinate, but they are still useful as a global Wikipedia. You can dispute the wiki data all you want but at least there is some consensus from the broader internet. It keeps the crazy dumb stuff at bay until further deep dive should the arguing over facts persist.
