People who have had any sort of passive income would attest that it doesn’t make them any lazier, even if they didn’t work for it. They still wake up and tackle things they are curious about.
I don’t believe that UBI would make everyone lazy. Maybe many but not all. You still want upward mobility beyond the basic. If there’s no means testing and no risk of losing your base income you don’t need to worry about picking up work.
I don’t think most people will have any issues with AI replacing their jobs… but what they really care about is being able to provide for family - and have upward mobility to earn more.
People will always find something to do.
You know Google is a sad piece of shit company when it won’t allow AI content for SEO that is arguably why more helpful than human garbage output littered with filler and boring personal details, sloppy writing and incoherent logic.
