I had a new one today.
Prompted: Create new test coverage and keep going until all tests pass.
AI: creates five new non functioning tests. Runs tests, all new tests fail. Deletes the failing tests. Runs tests, all existing tests pass.
AI: "Task Completed"

Great coding workflow with
Cline and Jules
Create GH issue tag Jules
Jules codes autonomously based on the issue, in a branch on a runner, and then submits a PR back to GH
In an IDE with Cline, fetch and merge and build and test. If fails, Cline sends code review as comment on the PR, and Jules starts again.
Repeat as often as needed
I have more PRs to review than I can get to, so the next step is remove me from the review step!
How much code review and testing can I automate?
Ofcom vs 4chan is one of the most interesting stories on the internet right now.
Tldr
- UK (Ofcom) says it has the right to censor 4chan because UK users use it.
- 4chan says no because it is an American company protected by first amendment.
- Ofcom fines 4chan and says it will keep doing so
- 4chan says it will pay those fines "when pigs fly"
- Ofcom says it will enforce its fines in courts of law
Let's say that again. The UK government is going to argue against the US first amendment in a US court.
The rest is TBC including some awesome push back from Peston Byrne (see Twitter).
If the US successfully makes a stand here to say it will protect US businesses from this kind of censorship then there is every reason to relocate our companies to the US.
My choice-
- Stay in Australia and be sucked dry complying with every other country's online censorship regulations, including my own country's.
Or
- Relocate to America, ignore them all, and get on with building.
Seems like a no brainer.
Watching with a lot of interest.
