I have so much empty roost space right now and this is where they decide to tuck in for the night.

Soccer coach is annoyed that I won't download GroupMe and join the team chat 🤗

I went ahead and started training the babies to the new coop the day after I finished with the older ones because of some changes we have coming up. Tonight they went in on their own and I have all of my chickens in one coop again 🙌 Now it's time to see if I can trigger another hen to go broody before the cold sneaks in 🤞

Listening to some much needed rain and kids snoring while I sip my coffee (that my amazing husband made and brought to me) in bed this morning 😌

I drove 40 minutes one way to go to my first soccer parent meeting... Could've been a text. Also, they didn't even have the practice schedule ready. It was a peaceful drive though. Goodnight ✌️

It got up to 109° here yesterday. We finally have some sub 100° highs forecasted for the end of next week and I am reeeaaally looking forward to that 😅

All of the chickens did what they were supposed to do tonight 🙌 Now I need to train the babies to that coop. Might wait a couple more weeks for that... Goodnight✌️

Watching sunset and chickens... I locked the older chickens out of their coop to see if they will go in the new coop with the younger chickens. It doesn't seem to be working.
