Learning how to sew with the kids... I'm basically Vera Bradley now 😏😂

I found a small persimmon tree out here last year, but something got to the ripe fruit before me. I found an even bigger tree this year and it started dropping fruit today! The kids are not fans because of the seeds so the plan is to collect them into the freezer until we have enough to make some jam 😋

Hubs let me chill with the kids while he made breakfast this morning. He made omelettes for all of us and then brought me a fat stack of bacon 🤤 now he's brewing another pot of coffee. #blessup

Good morning! I miscounted. We've only lost one chicken in the last three weeks! 🙌

I have been giving Tank more trust and freedom to do his job with the chickens and he has been doing so well. We went over two weeks without a loss 🙌 Unfortunately, we did lose two more this week, but I'm thankful it has at least slowed and am hopeful it will continue to get better as he matures 🤞

We have a bunch of these flat clay stones around here. I'm thinking about using them for the hearth in our cabin... Anyone have experience with this sort of thing? Is it a bad idea?

Three weeks in to #peatstr... While it has been fun to eat all the yummy fruit, my acne is back, gas is back, bloating is back, loose stool is back, and allergies are back. Think it's a no for me, dawg. Back to high fat/low carb we go!
