Also, a question for fans of both Momiji and Tamamo (Fate/Extra) - for round 1 I used the iconic Meme pictures when representing the characters, and while I as a rule want to use new pictures for each match, the Meme pictures seem to be the most Powerful representation of these girls, and I wouldn't want to nerf them for the later rounds. So do you guys want the Meme pictures to be used for Round 2 as well, or do you want new (maybe more glamorous) pictures used? #BestVidyaGirlContest

ROUND 2, MATCH 2 PRE-GAME ANALYSIS 8th Seed Momiji Inubashiri (Touhou) VS 9th Seed Fio Germi (Metal Slug) Touhou Wolf Girl VS Fio Germi, didn’t we already have this match? Indeed, Fio Germi defeated Kagerou in the first round, the only loss Touhou has suffered so far (though tournament favorite Samus currently holds the tiniest of leads over Remilia), and despite basically sleepwalking through a big portion of the match, Fio ended up winning with shocking ease once her fans actually mobilized. At the very least the Italian girl is a near-elite, though she might be even stronger than I think – beating a well-liked Touhou rep the way she did is no joke, and would under normal circumstances make her the clear favorite in this match. However, not only does Touhou as a whole seem boosted these days (Remilia keeping up with Samus the way she’s doing clearly shows as much), but Momiji is by all accounts the stronger of the wolf girls, has crucial Meme Strength, and the way she during much of her match with Mona spanked the living daylights out of the astrologist’s attractive ass was quite a sight to behold – and it only looked more impressive later on, as Ganyu's performance against Alice indicated that maybe Genshin Impact was actually way more legit than it initially seemed. The wolf did however display a surprising lack of stamina, as she later on ended up bleeding percents badly, ending up with a final victory that was far less overwhelming that what her early efforts promised. Before the Touhou boost, I would have been inclined to consider Fio the favorite because of just that show of weakness, but even with Fio’s wolf-hunting record, it’s hard to bet against a franchise that’s potentially looking capable of overcoming even Samus. That said, if Remilia ends up beating Samus, we may end up seeing an increase in Touhou anti-voting that would help Fio out, though I doubt it will be enough. #BestVidyaGirlContest
