Tras will say that the concepts of "man" and "woman" are social constructs whereas "stag" and "doe" for instance are not social constructs.
The only way you can arrive at this conclusion is if you believe that women are a role performed in society.
For some words this rationale does work. For instance, let's take "parent". Parent is a role in society where an adult takes responsibility for raising a child. In many (most?) cases they are also the progenitor of the child, but they *do not have to be*. Adoptive parents are parents. People sometimes say "biological parent" when they mean progenitor, which is a theme that bled through into tra narrative when they say "biological woman". But the point about parent is that it is a social function, a role performed by a person.
So in order for this reasoning to apply to "woman", woman would have to be a role performed by a person in society. What role do women play? The only concrete thing you can say with respect to society is that it's women who bear children, which is purely a biological function not a social or cultural role. If you try to impose any other social "role" then this is fundamentally sexist.
So we're not a social construct in the same way a parent is. We're just defined in terms of our biology.
